Group Volunteer
Looking for a meaningful way to give back together? Columbus Humane offers group volunteer opportunities for corporate outings, organizations, coworkers, friends and other community groups. Whether you’re lending a hand at our shelter or supporting our Essential Care Center, your time helps us care for animals and strengthen the bond between pets and people in our community.

Group volunteer activities are based on our current needs and may take place at our shelter in Hilliard or at our Essential Care Center on South High Street. Please utilize the schedulers below to schedule your group volunteer session.
Group size
Our Hilliard shelter can accommodate groups of 5-15 participants.
Our Essential Care Center can accommodate groups of 3-6 participants.
All group volunteers must be 18 years or older.
Before you volunteer
Each participant must complete a Columbus Humane Group Volunteer Waiver and Release before their volunteer experience.
What to wear
Closed-toe shoes
Long pants
Comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty
