Shelter to Shelter
Columbus Humane works closely with many other animal welfare organizations to expand cross-learning opportunities. We have consulted on a variety of issues, including strategic planning, how to implement a successful transfer program and intake management. As part of our intake management initiative, we helped decrease cat euthanasia in our community by more than 70%. Since that time, we have not euthanized a single animal for lack of space.
We realize how important it is for colleagues to learn from one another and would welcome the opportunity participate in finding collaborative solutions to animal welfare issues, so that everyone succeeds. Columbus Humane works with other shelters and animal welfare organizations to partner and learn from each other. If you are interested in cross-learning opportunities, please contact Columbus Humane today.
