The Gift That Keeps On Giving

To say 2020 has been a year like no other, feels like a bit of an understatement. Is it safe to say, no one’s year has gone to plan? But every challenge invites an opportunity to learn and grow. We’ve learned how to work flexibly and remotely, stand six feet apart from one another and wear a mask that covers our noses. But more importantly, we’ve learned how to remain close when sharing physical space is no longer an option, serve a community facing a new set of challenges and rework our programming to accommodate a new way of life.

The one thing that remains constant in this uncertain year is the support from our community of friends, volunteers, donors and local business partners. Collaboration is a core value at Columbus Humane and we truly believe we are at our best when we rally together.  Because together is how we make Columbus Humane.

While you’re out shopping for the Holidays, as Black Friday and Cyber Monday come and go, we want to call attention to the local business that support us all year round. Let’s return the favor and keep them going strong.

If you’re looking to help animals in your community directly through year-end gift giving, Columbus Humane is in need of the following:

  • Dog and Cat Food

  • Cat Litter

  • Monetary donations

Your impact can be felt in so many different ways:

  • $15 feeds two cats for one month through our food distribution program

  • $50 provides veterinary care for an incoming homeless dog

  • $100 provides a physical exam and diagnostics for a pet who suffered abuse.

Your generosity has ensured that pets and their families who love them can stay together for the holidays, even through job loss and financial struggle. You’ve helped abused and neglected animals find justice. And you’ve helped thousands of animals find new homes. And the work continues.

Let’s keep supporting one another where we can. Together, we all make Columbus Humane.
