More Than 40 Australian Shepherds Rescued on East Side of Columbus

On Sunday, December 6, 2020, Columbus Humane assisted Franklin County Dog Wardens and Reynoldsburg Police Department with a home overwhelmed with more than 40 Australian Shepherds living in unhealthy conditions. The dogs vary in medical concerns, many fearful and in need of additional training and a loving home.

Of the 40 dogs, 16 went to Franklin County Dog Shelter with the rest coming to Columbus Humane. The population of Australian Shepherds at Columbus Humane are currently being evaluated for medical concerns and will be available toward the end of next week. We will make an announcement the day the first few Aussies become available.
