The Columbus Humane Essential Care Center (CHECC) is open and already making a lasting impact in Central Ohio. The new center is unlike any other facility in the country and will help meet the needs of more than 106,000 pets under the care of our friends and neighbors who are living below the poverty line.
The CHECC features low-cost veterinary care, a pet food pantry and veterinary workforce development. Since the opening this summer, our donors have been a beacon of hope for countless pet families in need.
But this is just the beginning, and we look forward to continuing to serve, thrive and drive change together with support from our donors.
